Metro Atlanta Hornet Alumni Chapter Hosts Buzz Basket Send-Off for Incoming Alabama State Freshmen

The Alabama State University Metro Atlanta Alumni Chapter is buzzing with pride as they prepare to welcome the next generation of Hornets in true ASU style. On Saturday, July 20th at 3 PM, the chapter will host a Hornet Meet-Up and Buzz Basket Send-Off Party at Gocha’s Tapas Bar (5829 Campbellton Rd SW, Suite 110, Atlanta, GA 30331).

This special event is dedicated to celebrating incoming freshmen from the Metro Atlanta area who will be heading to Alabama State University this fall. The highlight of the afternoon? Each new Hornet will receive a thoughtfully curated Buzz Basket—a gift filled with essential college supplies, ASU-branded swag, and plenty of love from local alumni who remember what it’s like to start their journey on “The Yard.”
